hi tracy,

happy new year!  i was just writing to see how the eurasian wigeon is coming along.  i have been extremely happy with your birds.  i have left them out since the end of october and outside of some water stain, they are perfect.  i am so happy that i am going to gradually get away from cork decoys and switch over to yours.  hope you the holidays were good to you.

I asked Tracy if she had ever painted a mottled duck, and she replied
"no, but I can try." She took to the task and produced a pair for me in a
surprisingly short period. She spent a lot of time on my mottled duck
pair. Those wise, local mottled ducks that turn out at about 55 yards will
have something new to look at this season. I will bet they turn too
late, if they turn away at all.

Tracy also sent me a pair of bufflehead decoys and two drake hooded
merganser decoys. They look realistic enough to fool most hunters. I
purchased these to add realism to my spread, and cannot wait til the
season opens so we can try them out. Thanks, Tracy, for your time and
expertise. Budro

I just wanted to send you and Tracy a note to let you know how pleased I am with your decoys. The quality and workmanship are outstanding. Tracy has captured colors that you only see on decorative decoys that never touch the water. The blacks, pins, scaup and buffleheads that I bought at the show have earned their place as my all-time favorite decoys. I can't help but feel a sense of pride in knowing that I will finally be hunting over a "quality" rig. I've bragged on them to every one I know that duck hunts. My wife fell in love with the drake bufflehead and said that he was too pretty to take hunting, so I will be ordering one in the near future for her to keep her company while I'm chasing their live cousins this fall.

I came away with a good, positive experience when we talked about decoys and hunting at the show, and I want to thank you both for your kindness and consideration. I wish you and your family a safe and memorable hunting season.
